MONTENGRO RETREAT ITINERARY
DAY ONE - SETTLE IN
Settle into your stunning eco-friendly luxury tent and explore the unique surroundings you will be spending the next few days in (honestly, its breathtaking!)
Welcome and ice-breaker with your fellow PEAKERS!! (omggawddddd!)
Team led hike around national park to shake off the flight and start to get to know your roomies better
Dinner at ašuma (they are cooking the most incredibly fresh food for us all to dig into to!) where we will give a breakdown of the week and get even more hyped for the rest of the adventure
Fire pit chills, red wine vibes, hot toddies
Intention setting for the adventure ahead of us!
DAY TWO - THE BIG HIKE!!
Morning yoga & meditation session to set the tone for the most incredible day ahead (and breathe...)
Mountain led hike in the Locven National Park taking on the famous Ivanova Korita mountain range. A full day of hiking and taking on this epic 16KM challenge. Think view points, think incredible landscapes, think PEAKIN'!!!
Optional post hike massage back at ašuma to get rid of any post hike tension or join in a wonderful stretch led by your PEAKIN' coaches
Indulge in fresh cooked food and bangin' company after the most rewarding day
Pamper night (lush)...get your feet up by the fire, enjoy some good wine and an evening of winding down.
DAY THREE - BOAT DAY!
Morning team sweat (come up) or yoga session (come down) depending on what your body needs

THE BIG 'MARATHON HIKE' !
16KM
As part of our retreat itinerary you will get to experience this 16KM trail near Kotor, Cetinje. This will be led by a qualified Mountain Leader and will be the perfect day to take in the mountain range of Montenegro. This is a "must do" for all PEAKERs who are active travellers and enjoy exploring in beautiful nature.

WHAT TIME DOES THE RETREAT START & END?
The retreat officially starts at 4pm on 16th May 2024, and ends at 10am on Sunday 19th May 2024.
WHICH AIRPORT DO I FLY INTO?
Tivat airport, Montenegro. This is a 60 minute drive from ašuma retreat. There are direct flights from London Heathrow on the dates of the retreat.
HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE RETREAT?
Transfers aren’t included in the price of the ticket, however you can choose the bolt on option and we can sort your transfer for you once we know what flight you arrive on. The price will vary depending on if you are sharing with other PEAKERS or choosing a solo transfer. If not feel free to organise your own taxi from the airport to ašuma retreat (we'd recommend booking in advance)
CAN YOU CATER TO SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS?
Absolutely. We work closely with our partners and suppliers and can accommodate most dietary requirements. We will email you with a form to gather information about your dietary requirements a month before the trip start date. asuma retreat will be providing us with vegetarian meals only due to their eco nature.
CAN I COME ON THE RETREAT ALONE?
Yessssss!!! 90% of our PEAKERS come on our adventures alone! We are an inclusive community that welcomes everyone with open arms, and we pride ourselves on introducing you to your future best mates. "Arrive as strangers, leave as friends!"
WILL I GET ANY FREE TIME ON THE RETREAT?
Yes, we always factor in downtime on the retreat so you can go and explore or take some moments of solitude.
IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE IF I DECIDE TO CANCEL THE TRIP?
The deposit is non-refundable and is used to secure your spot on the trip. If you decide to cancel your trip, we cannot refund your deposit. Please ensure you purchase adequate travel insurance to cover any fees you may incur if you have to cancel your trip.
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE?
The payment schedule for this trip is detailed here:Deposit: Deposit of £300 at time of booking (non-refundable)Balance Payment: Remaining balance is due on February 16th, 2024.
I WANT TO SHARE A ROOM BUT I AM TRAVELLING ALONE, DO YOU ASSIGN ME SOMEONE TO SHARE WITH?
If you are traveling alone and would like to share a room, we use our best judgment to find a good match (it's what we do best hehe). We endeavour to accommodate any specific requests you may have. Please contact us with any requests so that we can assign you to unaccompanied PEAKER(S) that also want to travel in a double or quad occupancy room.
HOW DO YOU ASSIGN THE ROOMS?
Rooms are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Please note: all rooms are equal in terms of comfort.
ARE YOUR RETREATS JUST FOR WOMEN?
Nooooooo! We welcome anybody who is looking to reach new PEAKS and join a community of like-minded people.
IS TRAVEL INSURANCE INCLUDED?
We do not include travel insurance as everyone’s needs are different. However, having travel insurance in place for each person is a condition of your booking. Please ensure your travel insurance provider covers you for the following: Flight cancellation, trip payments, medical restriction preventing you from traveling, local and destination restrictions preventing you from traveling, assistance, including repatriation, in the event of accident, illness, or death.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION BY YOU - If you wish to cancel your booking, please inform us in writing as soon as possible and the effective date of any change shall be the date that we receive written notification from you. At that time, we will endeavour to re-sell your spot on the trip. Should re-sale not be possible, all payments made to date will be considered non- refunadble. It is a condition of your booking that you purchase adequate travel insurance to cover any costs you may incur if you have to cancel your trip. If Payments are not made on time we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain the Deposit.
CANCELLATION BY US - In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the trip for any reason then we will offer you the following options: A full refund of all monies paid, including your deposit, transfer of your booking, free of charge, to a future trip of the same value. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the trip for any reason, any flight tickets purchased by you will not be able to be refunded. It is for this reason that travel insurance is a mandatory condition of your booking.
